DSP’s are the most critical roles in the agency. The support they provide is critical to support people with disabilities to live self-directed and satisfying lives. DSP’s are responsible for implementing programs, and outcomes/ actions related to the Individual Support Plan. They are also responsible for insuring the person is healthy, safe, and happy. COMPETITIVE STARTING PAY with shift premiums.

DIRECT SUPPORT SPECIALIST - BEHAVIOR

Direct Support Professional willing to support and guide a person with complex mental health needs to live a great life. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with IDD who have a dual diagnosis. A high degree of patience, understanding and tolerance required. Completion of an extensive behavioral training program will be required upon hire.

Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) Instructor

Pre-ETS instructor is a part time position contingent upon grant funding. Instructors are responsible for teaching curriculum designed to assist high school students with disabilities to achieve a successful transition from school to employment or postsecondary education opportunities.  The goal of the instruction is employment for youth upon their exit from the school system.

The role of the program Supervisor is to:

  • ensure people have the supports needed to live their vision of a valued life in the community

  • employees have the assistance and training they need to provide support

  • monitor services and supports for quality and continuity

  • provide oversight of persons home

  • assure adequate staffing is scheduled and provided
